Psapp Show - The Roadhouse, Manchester

This show definitely falls into that "Weird Psapp Moments" category.... no advertising.... weird line up of support acts.... broken toilet.... drums 10 feet behind rest of band.... and the list goes on... but I have to say that a whole bunch of very dedicated Psapp fans turned up (apparently thanks to Gals myspace efforts) and we still ended up having a great show, despite the above mentioned weird vibes... the drive back home after the show was horrible though... but it was the Nutslut's birthday so who are we to complain...

Psapp Show - The Spitz, London

After cabbing all the gear from the Joint to the Spitz we set up for soundcheck. All went pretty smoothly. Once I was done I went down to Brick Lane and had some Indian food. The place I had meant to go had actually closed down which was a bit of a bummer (I know, my life is soooo hard)... anyway, still had a lovely meal. On the way by chance I passed some sort of juggling club going on at Spitalfields Market.... as I had a half hour to kill I just sat in a corner an watched them in awe.... they were all so good it was scary... bet it's a cool hobby to have... maybe I will start juggling on this tour to kill some time.... anyway we had a GREAT show this evening... the whole night was brilliant... so many people turned up compared to our last show here and everyone seemed up for having a laugh which was nice... the highlight of the show had to be our thrash-metal version of "Calm Down" which we came up with at rehearsals yesterday... playing thrash-metal on my Psapp kit with hotrods is no joke though.... I was totally dead after the show! Once we got back home to Psapp HQ we were all a little hungry so we went down to the nearest 7/11 and did some guerilla marketing on the way.... vibe!

Juggling Geniuses

US Embassy adventures

I don't think any of us were happy about getting up so early to stand in line at the American Embassy... the thing that amazed me was that certain members of the band who are (almost) always late managed to be there before us.... seems like there is some selective 'lateness' going on this band?!?!

Long Journey back to London

As you can see in the following pictures, certain members of the Psapp entourage started getting a little delirious on the long drive home.... get them their tablets?!

Psapp Show - ABC, Glasgow

The drive to Glasgow wasn't too bad... actually in parts it was quite nice. The scenery up there can be pretty spectacular. Once we got there we were all amazed at the interesting combination of shows at the venue. There was Barbera Morgenstern and us but also a band called 'Down' led by ex-Pantera singer Phil Anselmo. I managed to get our tour manager Paul (aka The Nutslut) into trouble because I was caught spying on Downs soundcheck LOL! I am such a trouble maker... at least I like to think I am :oP
The show went really well though even considering I had damaged my knuckle last night and had problems playing. During one of Carim and my 'snake fights', snakee went flying straight out into the audience and ended up around the neck of some young female. Even though Carim got snakee back after the show, both suffered serious trauma! After the show everyone went out to party but I was too busy installing OS X on my mac which for some unknown reason was an absolute nightmare... anyway at about 4am I finally had it up and running....zzzzzzzzz..........

Psapp Show - Sage, Gateshead

We all met at Psapp HQ this morning as usual... it was an early start though as we had a long drive up north to Gateshead... I had never even heard of the place before... Gwen had brought a great series called 'The Mighty Boosh' which is just what we needed to pass the time! Once we got there I think we were all amazed at the size of the Sage... it's HUGE! The show there went well. We supported Barbera Morgenstern and The Matinee Orchestra and drank lots of tea in between. After the show we went back to the hotel where Gwen, Gal and I preceded to get completely lost trying to find our rooms... By this time Gwen was about to kill anyone who crossed her path! By the way, could you keep the door closed?!
