'Morning Becomes Eclectic' - KCRW Los Angeles
Another early start this morning (going by LA time that is)... after a meek hotel breakfast (frosties and a glass of water) it was off to KCRW to do 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' with Nic Harcourt. The main reason for getting there so early was so we had ample time to set up and also use the excess time to run through the tracks again before the live show. I have been a fan of this show for some time so it was quite exciting! Just before we were about to do the show I managed to bump into my sisters, Mum and girlfriend Judy online (in Europe and Canada)... so I told them to follow the link to the site and listen to the show as it went out on the air which was very cool... about ten minutes before we were to go on the air we ran into some technical difficulties with Jims keyboard... it started cutting whilst playing 'About Fun'... some weird power supply thing... so Carim came up with the cool idea of powering it with the USB port on his mac....good boy, Kaweem! Anyway, all was sorted out before going on the air and all was good... everyone really enjoyed playing on the show so it was a great start to this tour...Click here to listen the show.
