Summer Sundae Festival - Leicester
Today was our show in Leicester at the Summer Sundae Festival...
...but for a while there it looked like it wasn't going to happen...
...our keyboarder Gordon aka The Prog Wizard had been in Verona with friends and family and was scheduled to come back to Britain yesterday...
...but then there was that whole thing with the possible bomb attacks on planes flying out from England and all hell seems to have broken loose...
...so Gordon had to take a multitude of train journeys and ended up arriving on site about 20 minutes before we were due on...
...and that thanks to Plaid who swapped slots with us, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to play at all... so THANKS Plaid!
The audience was absolutely fantastic which made up for the usual terrible sound etc that we have become accustomed to at festivals...
After hanging out for a little bit it was back off to London.. we got in around 3-4am... now it is time for my bed!
